Hi 👋🏽

I’m Michal, Senior Platform Engineer, Cloud Native enthusiast and a Data Scientist with an interest in helping customers find insights scattered throughout the often messy data landscape in an automated manner. In order to do so, I build big data tooling to support data acquisition and analytical workflows, as well as train, deploy and monitor bespoke models.

Competencies: Python/Rust/R, various SQL dialects, machine learning & deep learning frameworks (Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch), APIs and model serving (Flask, Django, FastAPI), deployment & MLOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Flux, Helm @ AWS), BI tools (Looker, Tableau)

Dynamic infrastructure provisioning for SaaS products: Ataccama way

This talk explores approaches to managing and provisioning dynamic infrastructure for cell-based SaaS application, where each tenant requires dedicated resources due to security requirements, or gradual migration from silo based deployment.

Main focus areas include common resources for most SaaS applications, such as secrets backed by AWS Secrets Manager & KMS, database clusters backed by Amazon Aurora or S3 buckets. There will be examples and lessons learned throughout Ataccama’s year journey of creating a new SaaS, which is now in production.
